Here's a painting (made by me of course) which includes also any special idea. I think this is  the particular of it:) There`'s so many nothing on it, so that you can discover something for yourself. Alors, dis-moi ce que tu vois!

My answers for Lulu

I'm back again and the vacation was great! I love the Frensh language now more than before and will try my best to perfect it;)

So here are my answers of the questionnaire by Lulu:

1) Why did you start blogging?
I don't really know, but I think I liked to share my  favourite impressions and ideas because I like always to talk about.

2) Do you prefer Spring/Summer or Autumn/Winter?
I prefer Winter/Spring:) I like the interlude of these seasons when the weather is just fresh and sunny and you can smell the scent of beginning spring.

3) What do you notice first: Smokey eye make-up or bright lips?
Bright lips.  I always mak up my lips so it's also always the lips that I notice first.

4) Who are your style icons?
When I get intersted in fashion my first style icon was Audrey Hepburn. I like her artless elegance and her girlish beauty. Now I mostly get inspired by her and by the fashion of Sonia Rykiel or the label Moschino.

5) Describe your personality in 3 words.
Enthusiastic, optimistic and curious.

6) If you had to leave the house with only one item of make-up what would it be?
My lipstick.

7) Which era do you think influenced fashion the most?
I think today's fashion is influence by each era.  I think it started with the twenties when women began wearing trouwsers.

8) What beauty item do you always repurchase?
The Moisture Extreme Lipstick by Maybelline Jade.

I'm tagging with the same questions...

Yes Saint Laurent and his smoking

Why is it called "smoking"? At society parties it wasn't advisable for men in the presence of women to smell of smoke; So it was normal for them to change some parts of their clothes after smoking in the smoking room. The suit they've worn while smoking was called smoking then. Later it became usual to call their suits it this way...

Saint Laurent createt a smoking for women. You have to imagine, for a several time women weren't allowed to smoke at parties or elsewhere... wearing trousers was also unsual...

It was like a small scandal for a woman to have a special suit like this. Well they already wore tousers, but a smoking for a woman? I think he did well and she don't need to be a man who smokes:)

Here are some pictures of a small book with all essential of this designer:

A Happy Sound

For the time being I'm listening to Katie Melua's last album "The House". It's such a good one, like the others before! Her sound is now diffrent but her poesie stays the same. She's a special current musician for me, because her lyrics regard me very much. I'm glad to feel with those songs.

Time can be so precious

I've seen this movie yesterday and it was so enchanting! "Before Sunrise" has a romantic subject but includes so many question live gives to everyone. The story and the characters were so pure, so it made really fun. Now I want to watch "Before Sunset".

Moschino's earrings

I haven't worn earrings for a  long time because sometimes they can make you feel very gypsy. But if you combinate them ably they can look very enchanting. Grand ones like on Moschino's current collection please me especially... I'm in love with them! They're playfully girlish and chic at the same time. Moschino shows  them with descreet designs and they definetly don't look gypsy!

A photography or tableau?

The famous fashion photographer Steven Meisel is one of my favourites! I've seen this Dolce&Gabbana campaign picture accidentally... what a great accident! I don't even know how to take it. Is it just  facing or a detailed demonstration? Most of all the blonde guy on the right side pleases my very much. His hair and rosy cheeks are really paintful presented.

Glorious!

This is the sound of british model Karen Elson. Her album "The Ghost Who Walks" is very well even though she's someone from the fashion world. No, Karen always has been someone diffrent from the other models with her pale skin, red hairs and no eyebrows. I think her look is really cool, she looks like someone glorious, really colourful. Karen is married with famous White Stripes guitarist Jack White who she met when she was arranged for their video "Blue Orchid".

Madame Pompadour

She has a pompous and luxury life... her room, her clothes and her class. The book in her hand remarks her intellectual interest. Tableau: "Portrait de Madame de Pompadour" 1756 by François Boucher

Mary Quant in a mini-skirt

It was the British fashion designer Mary Quant who made that new dress code become more famous and conventional. Thank you, Mary for all that minnies! Later she had many chic collections in the 60ies. Her trade mark? The five-point-cut.

Vogue covers

Somehow i felt very well in the 90ies but the reason mus be that i'm a child of those years. So fashion in the 90ies has been always a secret for me (because i was too little) and now i'm discovering. Christy Turlington is a model of that era and she's so beautiful. I like this Vogue cover.

Atonement

I think Briony was too jealous and acted unmindful. It's a very sad and wonderful movie. Keira is a grest actress.

Three wishes

Some of new choices that hopefully will fill my storage. The shoes by ILoveVintage aren't sold out yet, so i'm thinking of them. The top is for my new favour for oversized pieces. The hat by Monki is my special choice... I love this kind of hat, because it's so classic and girlish.

Movie actresse's looks

Jeanne Moreau's apparel in "Jules et Jim" is so pretty and bounded to feel good. The lazy jerseys and swimsuits that she's sometimes wearing don't make her lose her femininity and classiness. Jeanne Moreau has an unique face.

What a difference a brush-spot makes...

I painted this when I was bored. it's not perfect, but I like that little light of the tree.
