My answers for Lulu

I'm back again and the vacation was great! I love the Frensh language now more than before and will try my best to perfect it;)

So here are my answers of the questionnaire by Lulu:

1) Why did you start blogging?
I don't really know, but I think I liked to share my  favourite impressions and ideas because I like always to talk about.

2) Do you prefer Spring/Summer or Autumn/Winter?
I prefer Winter/Spring:) I like the interlude of these seasons when the weather is just fresh and sunny and you can smell the scent of beginning spring.

3) What do you notice first: Smokey eye make-up or bright lips?
Bright lips.  I always mak up my lips so it's also always the lips that I notice first.

4) Who are your style icons?
When I get intersted in fashion my first style icon was Audrey Hepburn. I like her artless elegance and her girlish beauty. Now I mostly get inspired by her and by the fashion of Sonia Rykiel or the label Moschino.

5) Describe your personality in 3 words.
Enthusiastic, optimistic and curious.

6) If you had to leave the house with only one item of make-up what would it be?
My lipstick.

7) Which era do you think influenced fashion the most?
I think today's fashion is influence by each era.  I think it started with the twenties when women began wearing trouwsers.

8) What beauty item do you always repurchase?
The Moisture Extreme Lipstick by Maybelline Jade.

Yes Saint Laurent and his smoking

Why is it called "smoking"? At society parties it wasn't advisable for men in the presence of women to smell of smoke; So it was normal for them to change some parts of their clothes after smoking in the smoking room. The suit they've worn while smoking was called smoking then. Later it became usual to call their suits it this way...

Saint Laurent createt a smoking for women. You have to imagine, for a several time women weren't allowed to smoke at parties or elsewhere... wearing trousers was also unsual...

It was like a small scandal for a woman to have a special suit like this. Well they already wore tousers, but a smoking for a woman? I think he did well and she don't need to be a man who smokes:)

Here are some pictures of a small book with all essential of this designer:

A red and a black fifties dress. Both colours are pretty, the black one is my favourite. Look at the petticoat:)
